Marine Floating Pneumatic Rubber Fenders.

Pneumatic Fenders are a suitable alternative to fixed fenders. They are particularly ideal for semi-permanent as well as permanent berthing applications and for offshore ship to ship lightering operations. Our Pneumatic Fenders are supplied in a wide range of sizes and pressure setings.

Diameter ranges from 500mm to 3300mm.

Length ranges from 1000mm to 6500mm.

Basic Construction of Fender Body

The basic body of a floating Pneumatic Rubber Fender consists of an outer rubber, reinforced tyre cord layers and an inner rubber.

Types

1. Net type: with chain, tires and flanges

2. Sling tye:

Flat sling or hook type fenders are effectively a type fender without chain and tire net and the ring shackles. A lifting eye is fitted to each end and the fender is slung by chain or wire rope. This type of fenders usually is mounted on small size ship or yacht.

Raw Material--Synthetic Tyre Cord Layer (Rubberrized Nylon Fabric)

Synthetic tyre cord layers, commonly used in tyres, have been proven to provide strong efficient reinforcement layers in fenders. Each single layer is coated with rubber compound on both sides as well as in between synthetic tyre cord threads, hence isolating all cords from each other.

Synthetic tyre cord has advantage over other reinforcement materials such as canvas fabric of reducing friction and wear between cord threads during compression, bending and stretching, and also greatly improves anti-fatigue characteristics, endurance life and anti pressure performance.
