Product description

Cashew Nutshell Liquid Modified Novolak resins 2190 are produced by reacting formaldehyde with phenol under acidic conditions and modified with Cashew Nutshell Liquid which is C15 alkyl phenol from natural cashew nutshell to improve the flexibility .
After cooled and solidified,it is milled to powder and mixed with around 10%of hexamethylenetetramine.
Novolak resins 2190 is recommended for the production of friction materials(disk pads,brake linings and
clutch facings)required reduced noise and judder,and improved impact strength
