Carbide sheet is also known as cemented sheet, carbide sheet. It is
one of many materials of cemented carbide and is named for its
shape as a rectangular plate (or square).
The cemented carbide sheet is mainly made of metal WC tungsten
carbide powder and Co cobalt mixed by metallurgical method by
powdering, ball milling, pressing and low pressure sintering. The
product has good compactness, no holes and no blisters, and high
dimensional precision (blank tolerance control). In ±2.2~±2.2, the
precision blank is controlled at ±0.01), the machining allowance is
small, which can effectively improve your production efficiency and
greatly reduce the processing cost.
The commonly used metal carbides are tungsten carbide, titanium
carbide, tantalum carbide and vanadium carbide, which can make the
cemented carbide have high hardness and high wear resistance. The
binder of cemented carbide is mainly metal cobalt or metal nickel,
which can ensure the strength and toughness of cemented carbide.
The main alloy composition of cemented carbide sheets is WC and Co.
The content of WC and Co in different types of cemented carbide
sheets is not consistent, and the scope of use is extremely wide.
Grade Performance and Application Recommendation:
The grades which used more frequently are YG8, YG15, YG20, YG10.2,
YG2T, YG10X etc.
Other grades can be offered according to customers' requirements.
